Healing Arts Connection, LLC provides effective and innovative mind-body-spirit continuing education to bodyworkers, massage therapists, nurses and other healthcare professionals as well to those interested in expanding their opportunities for healing, peace, fulfillment, satisfaction and connection. "I am a 'Wholistic Energy Facilitator' for others. Together, we allow the body, mind, and spirit to transform and repair the “cause” of distress, not just the symptoms. I insist on an honest, straightforward and educational approach to assist with health “opportunities” and/or “challenges” that may arise during our day to day life experiences. I believe there is no greater gift than the gift of a healthy body. So let’s continue to 'Plant the Seeds' and feel the joy that it brings." Tuesday, December 4, 2008 Shiatsu is Japanese medical bodywork. The primary technique of Shiatsu is gentle, deep pressure, using fingers (shi means finger and atsu means pressure in Japanese). This pressure is given without oil, on a clothed client. The combination of very relaxing pressure and a clothed client makes Shiatsu an ideal application for a chair therapy. In this Chair Shiatsu course, the participant will be able to demonstrate a protocol and variety of techniques for a twenty minute Chair Shiatsu therapy. Register Now |
